THE BISHOP'S FORUM
A Civic Leadership Institute for English-Speaking Youth
Welcome
We are thrilled to be hosting the 2025 Bishop’s Forum this August on our beautiful university campus in Lennoxville, Quebec.
The Forum offers a unique opportunity for young leaders in the English-speaking community from across the province to spend time together immersed in exciting and important conversations about the kind of province Quebec currently is, and could be in the future.
By offering young English-speaking Quebecers the chance to wrap their imaginations around how the business of Quebec’s major institutions is transacted, they will be better equipped to lead the change from which the whole province can benefit.
Through an exciting, enriching and interactive program, the Bishop’s Forum seeks to empower the next generation of young English-speaking leaders to build a smarter, stronger and more inclusive Quebec for the future. We can’t wait to welcome you.

The Bishop’s Forum is an immersive civic leadership institute that connects and inspires young leaders from across Quebec. From August 8th to 13th, 2025, we invite you to join us for a deep dive into what makes this place tick. How do our democratic institutions work? What are the big policy issues of the day? What do our communities need to thrive? Who controls the levers of power? How do we make sure that all Quebecers – including members of the English-speaking community from all regions across the province – have a seat at the table? What are the unique possibilities and opportunities available to young Quebecers who want to get involved and make a difference?
There is no question that we have entered an era of great change and consequence, both globally and right here at home. The 2025 edition of the Bishop’s Forum is a call for young Quebecers to think big and meet the moment with purpose. From politics and government, community development, social economy, the non-profit sector, health and education, entrepreneurship and business, philanthropy, design, arts, culture and the media, you’re going to meet people doing big, ambitious things. You’ll also get a behind-the-scenes scoop into how this stuff really gets done.
With over 500 delegates participating over the last 8 years as first-year cohort members and subsequently as coaches, speakers and alumni, the Bishop’s Forum has evolved into an important hub of exchange and interaction. We look forward to welcoming you and breaking new ground again this year.
